Position Summary:

We currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Specialist for sales operations support and to help us drive our sales initiatives for new business and growth. This is a great position for a self-motivated, driven individual, seeking an entry to mid-level role with room for growth. You’ll be an integral part of the development and execution of sales and marketing plans to reach our target markets and prospective clients.

What does success look like?

Success will be primarily defined by generating and following up on quality leads for us to drive new business growth and supporting our US sales efforts.
  • Research target clients / markets, build outbound campaigns and establish initial contact with key decision makers.
  • Utilize lead generating platforms like LinkedIn and Clutch for market research and prospecting.
  • Demonstrate success with prospecting and pipeline development.
  • Qualify inbound leads and communicate our value to prospective clients.
  • Provide sales operations support including managing our CRM system Achieve lead generation metrics and growth goals for the business.
  • Work as a team with our technical BA on new opportunities and proposals (particularly for website projects).

You will amaze us if you:

  • Have prior Business Development and/or Sales & Marketing experience including internships
  • Have prior experience with building and managing marketing automation systems and using tools like Dripify.
  • Are a self-starter who can execute with limited supervision and meet deadlines
  • Are an energetic professional with proven interpersonal skills who takes initiative to identify business prospects
  • Have strong written and communication skills and are comfortable interacting with international clients and prospects.
  • Possess strong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify client opportunities and challenges
  • Are entrepreneurial-minded with the willingness to take the lead on various business initiatives and projects
