Position Summary:
Our Atlanta team is growing! We currently have an opportunity for a Digital Product Designer at Azul Arc. This is a great position for a self-motivated, driven individual who is excited to contribute to the design of our digital platforms and websites.
What you’ll do:
- Lead website design engagements all the way from the initial opportunity through handoff to development, working directly with our clients, product managers, and developers to create visually engaging, responsive, and user-friendly websites.
- Designing mobile and web applications in collaboration with front-end developers, Product Managers, and clients to align on goals, ensure feasibility, and incorporate feedback.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, communicating design decisions clearly and effectively.
- Develop and manage design systems for existing and new clients, ensuring visual and functional consistency across enterprise-level digital products.
- Collaborate with developers and other designers to ensure seamless implementation of designs into final products.
- Maintain design assets and contribute to design system documentation and guidelines.
- Stay updated on design trends and technologies to ensure innovative and modern design solutions.
- Contribute to evolving our design processes, methods, and tools.
- Collaborate closely with a team of experienced designers, developers and product managers throughout the design process.
- Present, articulate, and sell design ideas and recommendations to business stakeholders.
What you bring:
- At least 2 years of industry experience relevant to the role responsibilities.
- Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing web projects and design systems.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Strong written and verbal skills with a focus on communicating design rationale and decisions.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards in UI design.
- Familiarity with Figma and management of design systems.
- Experience in managing or contributing to design systems for large-scale products.
- Ability to work across teams and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Energetic professional with proven interpersonal skills who takes initiative and works effectively with a team. We like fun, friendly people!
- Interest in working with smaller, entrepreneurial organizations, as well as larger corporations.
